Purpose
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) # 58823022 is to solicit applications that will enable the Iowa Department of Public Health (referred to as Department) to select the most qualified applicant to provide family planning and preventive services at the community level through the Title X Program.
The Title X Family Planning Program provides family planning services and education for individuals and families who wish to prevent or achieve pregnancy. The Department's Title X Program is available in the 56-county service area and based on the individualized needs of the clients and community. Family planning includes a broad range of medically approved services, which includes Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved contraceptive products and methods, for clients who want to prevent pregnancy and space births, pregnancy testing and counseling, assistance to achieve pregnancy, basic infertility services, sexually transmitted infection (STI) services, and other preconception health services.
